Trident Software

Connect the equipment. See what it is telling you.

Pumps, tanks, vehicles, machines, sensors on a site you cannot visit every day. We build the software that collects what they report, shows it to the people who need it, and lets them act on it. For equipment you already run, or a connected product you want to make.

Designed and built in-house in Brisbane and Gladstone, Queensland. Working with businesses across Australia.

Sound familiar?

Collect what the equipment reports.

From sensors, controllers, gateways and telematics units, over cellular, LoRa, satellite or whatever the site allows. Thousands of readings a second if that is what it takes, stored so you can look back as well as watch live.

Four live charts of equipment readings on one screen.

Show it to the people who need it.

A dashboard for the operator on a tablet, an alert on the manager’s phone, a weekly report for the owner. Built around the questions each of them actually asks.

Large live readings for rotary speed, torque, weight on bit and standpipe pressure.

Act on it, from anywhere.

Start, stop, adjust, reset. Commands sent back to the equipment with confirmation, a record of who sent what, and protection against stale or repeated instructions.

Rig commands configured for operators, with the metric configuration below.

Built for the conditions.

Poor coverage, heat, dust and sites that lose power. Data buffers at the edge and catches up when the link returns, and the dashboard tells you when a reading is old instead of pretending it is current.

A fleet dashboard showing which rigs are online and their latest readings.

What you can count on.

See it in practice.

Mining & remote operations

Remote sites. Real-time clarity.

MetricGrid connects equipment telemetry, live dashboards and remote commands, giving mining teams a clear view of what is happening in the field.

Questions, answered.

What equipment can you connect?
Most things with a sensor or a controller, including PLCs, Modbus and MQTT devices, gateways, telematics units, and plain sensors through a gateway. If it reports, we can usually collect it.
Do we need new hardware?
Often not. We start with what is installed and only suggest hardware when it is genuinely the gap.
Can we control equipment, not just watch it?
Yes. Commands go both ways, with acknowledgements, a full log and protection against stale or duplicate instructions.
What about sites with poor or no coverage?
Readings buffer locally and catch up when the link returns. The dashboard shows when data is stale rather than hiding it.
Can it become a product we sell to our customers?
Yes. The same platform can serve many customers with separate data and logins, which is how equipment makers offer monitoring as part of the sale.

What is your equipment telling you that nobody is hearing?

Walk us through it. Talk directly to the person who would build the solution.
